Q. How do I sign up for Rosetta Stone?
Rosetta Stone is an online language learning service that can be accessed from the Library's Education & Language databases page. When you click on the Rosetta Stone icon, you will be prompted for your library card number. Enter your account number (no spaces) and submit. From there you will be taken to a page that links to Rosetta Stone. The Rosetta Stone landing page doubles as a personal account sign-in or account creation page:
Simply create a personal account or log in if you have already created an account. First time users should read the "Quick Start Guide" for instructions on how to use Rosetta Stone.
- I have tried following these instructions, and Rosetta Stone does not recognize that I am trying to create an account, but instead tells me that I have not logged in correctly.
- When you click on the Rosetta Stone link on http://libgateway.com/site/sddp_main/databases/el/ you should be prompted to enter your library card number. Please enter the full 14 digit number, excluding any spaces. From there you should be forwarded to the Rosetta Stone site, where you can create your user account.
- How do I use the account I created with this to use the Rosetta Stone app on my iPhone?
- If you have already installed the Rosetta Stone app, please log in through our Articles and Databases gateway (http://libgateway.com/site/sddp_main/databases/el/) just as you normally would on a desktop computer. Your iPhone should prompt you to launch the Rosetta Stone app after you sign in.
