Q

Why cannot I request a book via ILL?

I can find the book on the catalog at SDSU but there is no way to actually order it.

Answer

Interlibrary Loan is a service offered by the San Diego Public Library. From the library's home page, click on the tab "Services" and click on the link "Interlibrary Loan" for details.

  1. I can get to the yellow box for ILL but it does not respond.

  2. Once you get to that yellow box, click on "WorldCat" in blue letters. That will lead you to a shared catalog. Locate the item you wish to borrow and then place your interlibrary loan request. Please call the Central Library Reference Desk at 619-236-5800 if you have more questions.
