Q

When I burn a book to a CD, is there a way to divide it into tracks every 3-4 minutes so I can move forward or backward?

Answer

Hello,

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to do this that I know of. Most cd burning software will arrange the files from the original source into corresponding tracks (e.g., if there is an audio file for Chapter 1, it will be turned into track 1 on the CD). There are audio software editing programs available online that will let you break audio files into smaller files, but you would have to do the editing by hand and it would be time consuming.

Sincerely,

Librarian
